There's a couple other abnormalities but I think I've give you the gyst of it. The three top-right icons don't work at all (Min/max/close). In Firefox, it the buttons work perfectly.except when I want to close the broswer. I have to hold shift and drag the mouse cursor oveer the whole test string to be able to copy if. I can't click a URL and copy it with one click. In Chrome, the buttons work as if they are reassigned.

    If I left-clck an icon for a text file or an app, it opens the right-click menu and I have to click open in the menu to open the file or launch the app for the icon. If I mouse over an icon, it functions fine. It only goes awry when I'm working on the desktop. The caveat to this is that when I'm working within an application such as Excel or Word, the left button functions normally. The red trackpointer works fine as does the touch pad. The left TrackPoint button now functions as the right trackpoint button. The right TrackPoint button does not function at all Secnd, more troublesome issue is with the TrackPoint buttons.

    Any ideas on where I might look to solve this? The TouchPad buttons are disabled, but they just don't work. I checked the settings under Mouse/UltraNav. I've tried updating the drivers through device manager, but the same driver always comes back. The Trackpoint buttons worked, so I left the issue for another day, which, of course never came. I bought in in 2014 and shortly after I started using it, I managed to disable the TouchPad buttons.
